Our team completed the aerial photogrammetric survey of a 4 km railway corridor and a total area of approximately 1000 hectares, using a fixed-wing VTOL UAV. The survey was completed in an 1-hour flight at an average flight height of 100m, while approximately 1300 photos were captured.
The processing of the field data produced orthophotos, Digital Terrain and Surface Models, cross-sections along the reference axis of the railway corridor, and a topographic basemap with elevation contour and 3D breaklines.
