In the context of a post-Byzantine temple restoration project, our team led the 3D capturing and reconstructing process of the interior and exterior of the main temple building.
Field works included UAV mapping of the exterior of the temple in various distances to capture both temple surroundings and detailed architectural elements. For the interior, 3D laser scanning approach was decided, followed by handheld DLSR camera photogrammetric scanning to achieve photorealistic 3D recontruction results.
