  • UAV 3D mapping of part of a historic park in North Kohala area on Big Island of Hawaii.
  • Structure-from-Motion processing for producing georeferenced orthophoto maps as an overview of the wider area of ​​the park for the detection of artificial structures in the ruins.
  • Perform a flight at 50 meters average height above the site to achieve the desired ground sampling distance of 5 centimeters (GSD = 5cm/pixel).
  • Surveying 10 Ground Control Points with RTK GNSS equipment for georeferencing and calibrating the model.
  • Image enhancement to amplify linear components and automatically detect artificial wall constructions.
