ARGO-E GROUP has an opening for full-time employment of a GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER in our offices in downtown Athens.
ARGO-E GROUP (formerly known as the informatics & engineering division of ELXIS GROUP) is working at the nexus of civil infrastructure, informatics and robotics. The company employs a dynamic, self-driven, collaborative team of civil engineers, computer scientists, geomatics engineers and data specialists with clients in 19 countries.
We are interested in hiring a Geotechnical Engineer with a background in numerical modeling who will be responsible for many of our Company’s activities. The individual hired will be participating in research and consulting activities of our company and leading our company’s research portfolio expansion in Europe. She/he will also support the data informatics and geospatial services and remote sensing activities of our firm.
Qualifications include:
- PhD degree and technical competence in geotechnical engineering;
- Expertise on computational geomechanics, constitutive modeling, and/or geotechnical earthquake engineering is preferable;
- Outstanding knowledge of the English language in writing and orally;
- Leadership, teamwork and time management skills.
